The Norsigian Collection of images authenticated by experts as the work of Ansel Adams — at the David W. Streets Beverly Hills Gallery
The David W. Streets Gallery is proud to host a limited public viewing of the Norsigian Collection on Saturday, September 25, 2010. These are the images of the glass negatives that were purchased by Rick Norsigian in 2000 at a garage sale in Fresno, California and recently authenticated by a group of experts as the work of Ansel Adams. The limited public viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The exhibition will launch with a VIP red carpet opening on Thursday, September 23 and private viewing by invitation only on Friday, September 24. Over 60 images will be displayed digitally and 17 images will be displayed in museum quality frames.
In light of the international attention, the Gallery has been deluged with calls and emails from around the world inquiring about the upcoming limited public exhibition. We are pleased to make this exhibition available to the fans of Ansel Adams, art experts and photographers without charge. However, capacity is limited so a ticket is required. Tickets are available on a first-come basis, otained by registering on the Events page at LostNaegatives.com.
